Creating different eye-liner shapes and looks on the eyes. We could use whichever eye-liner product we felt comfortable with so this could be a pencil, liquid or gel eye-liner. I decided to use my mac black gel eye-liner as I had never worked with this before and wanted to see how it applied onto the eye and looked. We got asked to create two different eye-liner looks in a slotted time to see how fast and how perfected we could get the eye-liner to look as if doing it for a catwalk show. Using a brush I found comfortable to do eye-liner with, I created both the looks with the black eye-liner starting the eye-liner stroke from the middle of the eyelash line working my way out either sides and creating my desired flicked effect. It’s all about the shape of the eye as to wear you place the flick and the shape of eye-liner you are creating you just need to keep asking your model to open there eye and keep looking as you go along to check it is looking ok and in the right place. To remove any eye-liner that goes wrong you can just use make up remover on a cotton bud or on a thin brush and wipe away the area or re shape the eye-liner so that it is correct.
