50's Up do using volume

Section the hair into three sections the front, bottom and crown, after sectioning the hair part the front of the hair into the direction your model would usually wear there parting or the way you wish your parting to sit for the look. after doing this start putting the rollers into the hair from left to right using a brickwork technique moving onto the bottom of the hair last putting the rollers in the opposite direction rolling them upwards, this will give the style volume from the bottom which is needed for the end result. After the rollers have cooled down start to take them out, once all the rollers are removed start with the bottom section of hair, gently comb the hair and then back comb it slightly at the root to add added volume and then roll this piece of hair up up into a barrel roll and grip securely into place using the over and round technique. With the middle section of the hair we took small sections of the hair at one time slightly back combed the sections and twisted these into barrel/pin curls pinning these into place as you go, leaving you with a middle section of tight pin curls. The top section is going to be styled around the face and pulled around with the desired parting left. Once pulled around this will be blended into the pin curls in the middle section of the head and tucked into the curls and pinned into place hiding any grips on show and then hair spraying over the head.
