Adding accessories to the hair

Brush all the hair back from the models face then using a pintail comb make a straight line back from the temples to ear leaving a square side section from the temples to the ear free, if the models hair your using is thin especially at the sides take a little bit more hair into the section as you want a lot to bring back later on for the hairstyle. Then collect all the hair above the nape of the neck leaving the sections at the front out of this saved for later, once you have the rest of the hair roll all the hair up to create a loop like bun and start gripping all the hair into place. There can be fall out bits within this style as it is not meant to look completely neat and perfect, my model had very long thick hair so I had to use a lot of hair grips to pin and keep her hair in place. Once I had pinned the majority of the hair into place so it was secure enough for me to no longer hold I used pins to tease and widen the shape of the rolled bun, pulling it out at the sides and then pinning it to the head at the sides so that the structure of the hair style was brought around the head more. After finishing this section of the hairstyle I went on to apply an accessory into the hair, I added a necklace to see what effect this would give adding an accessory that doesn’t usually go into the hair. after adding my accessory I went onto to finish the hairstyle by taking the side sections I had left from the beginning and twisting these pieces  of hair back, securing them into the top of the hair style gripping them around the top of the bun hiding all the pin’s and grip’s while creating the hairstyle. I then sprayed the hair with hairspray to keep in place and then experimented with applying a few other different accessories into the hair to see what different looks could become from this one hairstyle.
